Ethel was the one who told Wire about the store. The sniper had only good intentions when she popped into Wire's work room and rattled on about tech store, and how it would be a 'good exercise' to 'socialize' in a 'familiar environment'.
Truth be told, Wire went because he enjoyed using 'outdated' parts to make something positively new. It was a little hobby that kept the gears turning. That, and survival horror PC games.
Wire was pleasantly survived to see that the things in the store were made just as he enjoyed making things, and approached the owner as he let his eyes wander to the comfortable space of programming and hard drives.
"Nice," he mumbled before nodding, "you got any junk parts you don't wanna use?"
