I've written so few fics these past few years that 20 takes us all the way back to 2017...
1. It all started with a sickening crunch as Daniel swept Johnny's leg in front of all of their students (it was a demonstration, okay, they were doing a sweep during a kick, it was useful) and he went down wrong on his leg, and then Johnny's leg was...probably broken.

patterns: hm, it seems to be a fairly even split between dialogue or a scene-setting description. also, and this was kind of unexpected, between these twenty fics, eight fandoms are represented. (seven if you count Cobra Kai and Karate Kid as one fandom.) I knew I was a multi fandom person but since I tend to consider HP my main one, I guess I didn't notice how much work I'd put into other fandoms over time...

I just love it. this is one of my favourite fics ever, and not just because I co-wrote it with @gkkri, but because when I wrote the opening scene I really wanted to nail the humour and domesticity of the R/S relationship, and I think this opening line sets the scene really well.
