These last few months have been rough, and they made me change my view on a lot of things. I have always been a pretty perceptive person who pays attention to details, but ever since my depression I feel as if that I've started paying even more attention to the things around me. I guess you could say that sometimes I'm not really participating in life, but I'm observing it. One thing that I've learned and that I find so important, is the fact that everybody is different. You shouldn't just assume things, because most people don't think alike. We all have different brains, interests, views, opinions, values… and basically, we just function differently. Just because you are very open, perceptive, open-minded…, does not mean that somebody else is that as well. Even when you find someone who's very similar to you, they'll always be different. People are like fingerprints, unique in every way.
