“Come’ere,” he muttered and drew her closer, wrapped his arms around Emily. The day had started well enough, a warm and balmy spring night in New York, where they had met to promote a film together - since the film was set in the city itself, the studios had found it a great idea to make the premiere an open air event at Coney Island, with performers and clowns, with animals and a roaring crowd. Only downside? The weather had turned and now they were stuck at their own film’s premiere shivering through it, as the temperatures decreased. At some point, Taron had handed Emily his suit jacket, not as susceptible to the cold as she had to be in her backless dress. But he could still feel her shiver and so he drew her closer to him, trying to shield her from the icy wind blowing through the open air theatre. “Better?” He was concerned for the people around him, too, but since she had been his partner throughout this film, his focus was solely on her, and he was only satisfied when she stopped shivering and leaned into him.
