Whenever someone new moved into her building, Mara set out to bake them a sweet treat to welcome them into the neighborhood. Her parents always said that one good deed could make someone's day so she loved doing random acts of kindness for people around her. It brought her joy. Armed with chocolate chip cookies she knocked on her neighbors door, all excited and ready to make a new friend. As soon as he opened the door she extended the plate towards him. "Hi I'm Mara, from 4C. I just wanted to welcome you into the neighborhood so I made these for you. You don't have any allergies, do you?" Everyone liked chocolate, so she figured cookies were the best bet, but as she didn't know him she didn't want to accidentally poison him. Just in case, there was an emergency epi pen in her pocket. You never knew when someone would have an allergy attack after all.
