you know how Miranda said "you're not a visionary, you're a vendor"???? yeah so. I have a thing to say.

Emily might not be a visionary (which I also think isn't true but that's something else to get into), but she's an extremely compelling vendor. And Miranda, as a visionary with her public image (rude, bossy, self-centred) needs a good vendor to sell those visions. And while Andrea could do that, yes, she doesn't have her heart in it like Emily does. It is literally her field of expertise.

Basically what I'm saying is that even if Emily weren't a visionary, she's still do an amazing job and Miranda needs her around but she's too embarrassed to admit it, that's why she pushed her to Dior
