Emi's Equivalent Exchange reveal time has arrived~~ @justablah56 I hope you become even half as sick as I became when I so much as landed on the words 'be my anchor'. I went out of my way to learn how to shade metal specifically to contrast their bodies against one another most effectively. I *will* be learning shortcuts for it in the future because I also incidentally learned I really hate shading metal X)

Many months late, but your Emi’s Equivalent Exchange gift is finally here! Again, I am so so so sorry that it took so long. I wanted to send this in first, but at some point later this week you will also be receiving some bonus art as an apology for my tardiness cause now that college is out and work has calmed down I have more time to draw and post on tumblr again. But yeah, I worked really hard on this Katya and I hope you like it!

Yes, that's right! The RWD gift exchange is making a comeback!

But what does it mean?

Emi's Equivalent exchange is a hand-matched gift exchange for the Rolling With Difficulty fandom.

It's open to creators of any skill level, and runs from October 31, 2024 (sign-ups open) to January 26, 2025 (reveals!)

Exchange Rules:

each participant lists (at least) 5 characters they are willing to create for and 5 they would be happy to receive a gift about in their sign-up (opens Oct 31, and closes Nov 14, 2024)

Matching happens based on characters requested/offered and the possible posting platform (either tumblr or ao3) and assignments will be sent out no later than Nov 17, 2024.

Then it is time for gift making! Either a minimum of 500 words for fics, or a clean sketch of at least a torso and head on unlined paper for art.

Reveals/posting (on Ao3 or tumblr) is on January 26, 2025!
