At long last, it’s time for the Night of Two Hundred and Eighty-Nine Doors again! Well, strictly speaking it’s not night yet, but as I’ve already prepared my selection of literature, I might as well get an early start. There’s just so much fun to be had!
If you’re in Ponyville, then perhaps once you read this issue I might have visited you already. If not, I may yet, as I will be taking my time to ensure everypony gets a book suited to them, and hopefully have some interesting conversations about literature along the way.
I hope many of you are participating. If you see me about, you can ask me for or offer me books directly, otherwise Spike or Starlight will be at the castle to receive any books you might wish to give away. The holiday is technically about knocking on doors to offer books, but the spirit of the holiday is to share literature, so either way is acceptable.
