Shaming and guilt-tripping:
*context: suggestrogen blog was deactivated and someone grabbed the url is intersex and is against pedophilia and such.
I will start off a bit off topic cause it is a pattern I often see with talking points on here. It's not the topic itself but the way people speak to the viewer when reading. A lot of activism kind of goes like - "if you're not with us you are against us", "you wouldn't do that would you? Right right?" "if your not 100% on board you are a bad person". It's often passive aggressive moralizing and guilt-trippy and ends up sounding condescending too. These what these post remind me of, but enough of that.
Many people that follow ISFF and her circle especially want all trans fems to be in 100% agreement, if you go astray, you are treated like a traitor. ISFF and her community consider those who have spoken out against her as transmisogynist and transphobic even if they are trans themselves (which most of the people who spoke out are-even if they say otherwise. Tumblr is still a lgbt website, majority of the people here are a part of the community). They are also often called TME (Transmisogyny Exempt) with lots of venom.
You are automatically treated like an enemy even if you try to have an actual discussion. I have seen many trans fem even get misgendered and when corrected, act as if they don't exist. Disgusting to be thrown out once you don't comply to their beliefs. Forgot solidarity and nuances I guess.
But these will then try to shame you and make you feel guilty. If you are reading this, do not fall for it, do not feel bad as these people automatically don’t consider your thought or even give you a chance. You are free to speak your mind and what's in your heart.
NO ONE should have to make you feel guilty or ashamed to follow their movement and beliefs. This is something religions do, especially to their children. Beating shame and fear into them.
