I went to a bar tonight. There was this guy named Marcus... and he was so hoooot. He was totally flirting with me and I totally loved it. I might have also flirted back. Maybe kissed him. And sort of woohooed with him. I’m so drunk right now. Ugh, there is this pounding in my head, JUST GO AWAY! I need sleep.

𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓓𝓲𝓪𝓻𝔂,

Today I started my day with yoga. I usually do right before I go to work, but I figured I should mention it for once. I think I’m getting pretty good, hopefully, one day, I will master it. 

I don’t want to keep writing about my job but today was just too exciting! I arrested an old lady wearing a bra and long skirt today. Then I got to interrogate her! My first interrogation! I tried to be intimidating but I’m not sure that worked. I don’t think I can be mean or scary.

After work, my friends invited me out to a club. I didn’t really have friends here in Windenberg but I met some of them at work or while I was out on patrol and the other two were the ones who gave me a makeover. We decided to go out tonight because tomorrow is New Years. I think I’ll add dancing to the list of things I want to master.

After naps and contemplating my life choices I decided that the best thing I could do was help others. This way I can clear my conscience especially when I went ahead and told Marcus it was a mistake. So I went to go clean up the beach.

Afterwards, I headed to the park to call him. Now I know you aren’t supposed to say these things over the phone, but his Simstagram bio literally says “just call me to end things.” I’m guessing this guy must be a player... which makes me feel even worse for woohooing with him.

Ugh, why was I such a flirty, gross drunk? Anyway, he answered and said that it was fine considering the fact he thought it was just going to be a one-night-stand anyway.

Of course, just my luck, one guy I find somewhat decent, is actually a douche. Fantastic.

𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓓𝓲𝓪𝓻𝔂,

Tomorrow is Winterfest! Squee! It is seriously my favorite holiday, I just love everything about it. (She actually does, I’m looking at what parts she likes about Winterfest right now and she loves literally everything.) Not to mention today it snowed for the first time this season - on Winterfest Eve! 

Everyone was able to get and put all the presents under the tree today and I’m happy to report that my brothers didn’t just put an empty box under the tree for me this year, I may have shaken them a bit just to make sure. Last year they did that and I was so disappointed in them. They apparently were “too busy” to get gifts for me. Look, I know it’s not all about the presents but they got everyone else in our family presents except me. Now that’s just plain rude, right? I gave them the silent treatment for a week and they finally caved and let me do their makeup.

Unfortunately, mom won’t be able to come to our house this year. It’s sad but it’s not like we haven’t managed without her before during a holiday. Sometimes things just pop up or the weather won’t allow her to come, I don’t blame her, I wouldn’t want to fly 4 hours during the holiday rush.

Finally, after work, I got a promotion! You’re looking at the brand new officer on the squad. Right as I got home I went to Lukas to tell him the good news and all he could think about was the fact that I wasn’t wearing my glasses. He said I look good without them and that I should wear contacts more often. I mean I guess I do look okay without them, I just love my glasses too much to live without them right now. Maybe someday.

Chapter 2, Book 1

So yeah, that’s my past. A bit dramatic, but everything is true. I don’t want pity, so please don’t try to give me any, it’s made my brothers and I closer and gave me a wonderful mother.

𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓓𝓲𝓪𝓻𝔂,

Let’s get the boring stuff out of the way first. I got promoted again!

Okay now the juicy stuff, and by “juicy”, I mean complete failure on my part. Today after work Amaya and I decided to go to the cafe to start the search for a potential boyfriend. Except... NO ONE there was interesting. I returned home at 7 and decided to check on how Matt was doing. Hopefully, he didn’t find a potential boyfriend or girlfriend in one day. I would actually be pretty scared for him if he did.

At first, he tried to play it off like he DID find someone, but I called him out on his bluff. It was obvious that he was lying, I mean it’s basically my job to figure that stuff out. Then he said thought Laurel was cute. As in my friend Laurel, the person who is slowly becoming my best friend.

I mean I guess it would be a pretty cute relationship, but I have a feeling my brother doesn’t really like her, and I don’t want him to break her heart because of a stupid bet.

Hopefully, that won’t happen.

𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓓𝓲𝓪𝓻𝔂,

New Year’s Eve was not that eventful. We didn’t want to throw a party since I just went out with everyone the night before. I did, however, manage to float while meditating! I didn’t even realize it until I was going to stop for the day. I just floated down and jumped up. It was such a surreal experience. 

The rest of the day was just filled with naps and watching TV. That was until it was time for dinner. Matt asked me what my resolution was and to be honest, I probably wasn’t going to make one. Then he suggested that I find a soulmate. Of course, he wants me to find a soulmate. However, he’s not getting off that easily. He doesn’t have a girlfriend or boyfriend yet and he’s older than me, so why should I date. 

Now I’m in a bet with him. We both made our resolutions to date someone, except it needs to be completed in the next 7 days. Isn’t that ridiculous? Loser has to go on a date with someone the winner picks. It starts tomorrow.

𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓓𝓲𝓪𝓻𝔂,

On my second day off I decided to hang out with Laurel, we went to places that we thought would have some cute guys. So we went to a karaoke bar in San Myshuno. It was about a two-hour drive to get there but it was well worth it. We had so much singing that I wish I brought my guitar along.

Unfortunately, only elderly people were there. Luckily just another ten minutes away was the Humor and Hijinks festival. We joined the “Pranksters” mainly because I love being mischievous, I also have to learn new pranks to play on my brothers.

There still we no guys that peaked any of our interests, but we stayed anyway and had a great time. I think Laurel and I became even closer friends. Plus we both made 500 simoleons so it was WELL worth staying.

Maybe tomorrow will bring more luck.
