MAI. oh my GOD mai. i mean, all of them, but gaim was particularly cruel about it.

why would you taunt me like this. her shirt literally says GAIM on it like when will kouta get on that level?? never.

plus also while i actually... do enjoy kouta as a character (unlike a lot of ppl i guess? idk even the dudebros who love gaim never rly talk about him... i guess there’s not that much to talk about tho) mai is obviously better suited to be a hero than him... like it’s not even a question; even without powers she does everything she can to help him and the other riders, she wants to find out the truth, she wants to tell people the truth and not keep secrets from them... she 100% deserved to be a rider. kouta would’ve been a more interesting protagonist if the writers had realized he was more than a typically bland hero character but they uh...didn’t.

and maybe if mai was a rider she could’ve solved the whole golden fruit dilemma by taking it herself, smacking kaito upside the head, and getting rid of helheim forever instead of whatever the fuck kouta did with it. less women as literal prizes to be won over 2kforever please.

also i still don’t know why yuki wasn’t fourze. she knew how to morph and everything? what’s the hold-up here.
