Mmm, a little bit!  For me, it’s more like Phantom of the Opera or Pet Shop of Horrors or something along those lines--I’m hoping for just a small moment of realization and not a full on “Sebastian is redeemed” type of ending.

Mmmmmm, I pretty much agree, to be honest!  I’d like Sebastian to show a small act of changing because of his life with Ciel.  (Rather like the very end of Season 1, or that cake in the rain seiyuu event story.)  The thing is, I don’t know if it’s physically possible for a demon to change or grow like that.  If demons really are incapable of growth and emotion, I figured having him consume another soul is one way to get around that.

Hey, since Agni is Sebastian's only friend, do you think Sebastian is going to use the power of friendship to save him?

I think the manga’s going out of its way to convince us Sebastian has zero feelings whatsover (that’s just not true- anger, irritation, smugness, and frustration all count as feelings, okay, I don’t know why so many people think the word “feelings” is synonymous with love, tenderness, kindness, etc. probably because they’ve never picked up a dictionary in their lives).

Here’s to hoping that Sebastian will have more of a reaction in 128, since yeah, he called Agni an exemplary butler, but Agni died before Soma, which goes against Tanaka’s butler aesthetics, so logically, Sebastian shouldn’t be A-OK with this. And like you said, that’s his only friend ever.

Unfortunately, Agni was dead before Ciel and Sebastian got to him so unless a miracle happens, even Sebastian can’t save him :( The most he can do is avenge Agni, which I’m hoping for- just straight-up avenge him and rip the killer apart, no cryptic words, no looping this back to Ciel’s soul, just go ahead and say, “You killed my friend. LMAO I’m gonna kill you now.”

Thanks! Glad you liked the explanation :) I don’t actually want Tanaka to be a “bad” guy either, but I’m not ruling it out yet haha. Still, I don’t think there’s a high chance of the theory actually happening, so don’t worry too much about Tanaka turning to the dark side yet!

I’m sincerely not surprised XD The universe revolves around real!Ciel (I hope real!Ciel himself feels this way too LOL). Then again, apparently there are people who think UT manipulated real!Ciel into killing Agni, so \o/ whatever keeps them happy

Hi! My friend had a theory that I wanted to ask your thoughts about. So when I reread ch.134, I noticed the maid lying dead on the floor looked quite similar to Jane. So maybe she's a bizarre doll, thus why she's very strong and Mey rin didn't notice her presence now and then? Could she also have potential to be Lord Canopus? Maybe even the dead Butler from ch.134 also has potential to be Lord Polaris? Since Polaris is very "I'm a Butler even in Death" Thanks 4 reading & have a nice day! :D

Hey there. ^^ Please take a look at my reply here. That’s why I don’t think Jane is that maid from chapter 134.

She could still be a Bizarre Doll, though. Or some other supernatural being. Her strength surely rivals that of Mey-Rin and Ran Mao and I think we may not have even seen her full strength since she gave up.

Jane denied knowing anything about the reason why the blood was collected. Of course she could have been lying, but if she were one of the Lords I wonder if she hadn’t put up more of a fight in order to protect the blood taking at Heathfield’s manor. At least I’m pretty sure she’s not Lord Polaris. Given his reaction when telling real Ciel about the destruction of Heathfield’s manor as a blood-taking facility I’m quite sure he wouldn’t have just left like Jane did. 

Whoever she is, I think we’ll see her again.
