My favourite moment of Gong Shangjue & Gong Yuanzhi's (Emo & Poison brother) relationship is this scene right after their families die, where GSJ asks the little brother why he isn't crying. But first we have this intro of other people saying GYZ even isn't human
This kid has been different from other since they were young. He likes bugs and not people.
He has no heart. Just like bugs, he's cold-blooded.
and instead of freaking out upon the realization that he's adopted some sort of psychopath, GSJ just calmly explains what crying is for:
Crying can tell others that your heart is hurt. Sometimes one can't tell if you are sad and you need tears to tell others that.
It's beautiful, loves him as he is right from the beginning.
