Week 7
I'm now just over the halfway mark on the Makers Academy course.
I have a really weird feeling about it at the minute, so this post isn't going to make a whole lot of sense.
It's like, at the same time as I feel like javascript and jQuery and HTML/CSS is fine and makes plenty of sense to me, I also feel like the whole thing is killing me and I'm losing the plot. No change there then, I guess. Ended up copying quite a lot of the RPSLS code from github for the setup, which I probably shouldn't have done, but I'm going to re-do the whole thing tomorrow to try and solidify it. Especially after reading Friday's revision hackpad - holy shit, I know nothing.
Had to leave school early today because I was SO TIRED. Was just saying to a friend on facebook that I'm not sure I've ever gone this long without a half term or bank holiday weekend >.<
Nevertheless, I've got to plough on. Right?
I kind of wish everyone else wasn't coasting along so fabulously, or that I felt less terrified/embarrassed to ask for help from people. WHAT IF I'M GETTING IT ALL WRONG. The teachers and people do try to help out an awful lot, but I'm just being uncooperative I guess. Blergh.
Also I totally had a big cry at Dana on Friday, which makes me feel kind of bad. It wasn't even a justified cry. I'm just a weepy, cowardly, over-emotional-and-under-working wussbag at the mo. And I would like it to stop.
