I'm not usually into screengrabbing quotes but this part when Nesta and Emerie first meet...... does it remind you of a certain beautiful, bright female who has a penchant for winnowing mated females away from their mates upon request?

👀👀👀 We all agree that darling blush later in the book propelled this ship to set sail, but this right here shows quite a bit of intentionality on SJM's part for developing the similarities and potential kinship between Emerie and Mor. ❤️ Would love to see a conversation between them in a future book in which they share with each other their traumas at the hands of their own terrible fathers.
