Mpreg Rhysand would have healed me... and maybe Nesta. Listen, with Feyre not having to be pregnant, she would be frantic to save him and herself and the child. This pregnancy would be high risk for some other reasons, other than wings, or maybe the baby might die on delivery idk. All this to say, Nesta would begrudgingly have to greet Rhysand while he's bed ridden. "You must be so very happy about this whole ordeal." Rhysand's smile was strained. He clearly didn't have the energy to fake anything.

"Rhysand-" Feyre hissed. "You're lucky my sister enjoys you," Nesta cut in, "You're right I wouldn't care. If it weren't for my sister's worry for you, I would not lose sleep if you died." It would parallel literally Rhysand telling Tamlin a very similar thing. And Rhysand, in dire need of a self reflection arch, recognizes it. Thats why he hates Nesta, because she is the broken ugly pieces that he hates seeing. Farther down the story, Nesta has her arch, and Rhysand is bed ridden the whole time. The purpose of putting Nesta in the House of Wind was to help her... but even Rhysand admits that seeing people 'lower' makes him feel better about himself. And now Nesta has found herself whilst Rhys has lost who he is. (Insert Gojo and Geto break up "Are you the strongest b/c you're Satoru Gojo? Or are you Satoru Gojo b/c you're the strongest?") Rhysand finds himself envious. At some point Nesta chooses to see Rhysand. And they just bond as siblings slowly. OBVIOUSLY they must hate each other, its not fun otherwise. And again Rhysand is Mpreg-- he's definitely bitchy and less filtered. However, he is very shocked that Nesta chose to see him. Also, i think making Rhysand high risk mpreg would be very interesting to his character because he always had agency... and then for him to be stripped of it. BRO he would go fucking crazy. Rhys is legit a workaholic-- IDGAF about how much time he's sleeping with Feyre or fucking with Tamlin-- ITS CLEAR that he finds comfort in control and for this to happen to him? UGHHHH AND NESTA could say something like: "I used to help my mom when she was pregnant with Elain and Feyre. I think I would hate it." "You would," Rhysand agreed. "You wouldn't be able to train, walk, or even sit up without assistance..." Rhysand doesn't look at her. The vulnerability he's been showing is out of exhaustion. Nesta didn't care, it still feels real. That's all that matters. "Should i bring food over for you?" Nesta watched as Rhysand's bleary eyes fluttered close. He was so nauseously pale. "No...uhm.." he waved a a hand, "Feyre darling's got it..." Rhysand never sleeps Infront of people nor in public but in pregnancy yeah bro is sleeping a lot. To the point where Feyre tries to keep him awake, so he wouldn't ruin his sleep schedule, but inevitably gives up. I love these two and wish they were written with more care. AND WITH THIS AU IDEA Rhysand won't have to threaten Nesta I AM BAFFLED THAT FEYRE ACTUALLY FORGIVE HIM FOR THAT. LIKE thats your sister... and you chose a man over her? SIGHHH i also do remember Nesta threatening Rhysand in ACOMAF or ACOWAR.... but theres a clear power and skill imbalance that makes Rhysand threatening Nesta 10x worse.

elriel training arc is about to be SO HOT.

and then it’s like scene after scene of them undressing each other with their eyes, touches lingering longer than they should, a kiss brushed over a shoulder while adjusting posture— OH MY GOD I CANNOT WAIT

Why doesn’t Feyre think like a hunter? Obviously it comes down to very poor writing and a lack of character… but take this particular instance.

There’s a scene where a wingless Summer Court faerie is bleeding to death. I vividly remember the way she described how he screamed “was a cry of an animal Feyre didn’t cleanly kill.”

Why didn’t she offer mercy and kill him quickly? I just think it would be interesting, especially because Tamlin says in the earlier book, “I kill enough as it is.” We know that he doesn’t enjoy it… and I think it would be interesting to say that killing the suffering faerie quickly would be merciful.

Then it would develop a stronger theme around death. In ACOTAR there’s a repeated idea of, “not dying alone”. A sweet thought. Not very consistent though when we explore war in the third book. Where soldiers die slowly, die alone, or have no body left behind…

I also think it’s too flowery of an idea from a girl who grew up in poverty. A girl who lived in a poor town where people were dying left and right slowly or otherwise…like from disease, starvation, ect ect.

Also no one is allowed to choose how, when, or where they die. 🧍 Think of all the sentinels Tamlin sent over the wall, for them to die in a forest, and most likely be skinned.

I wish Feyre had the idea of “Memento Mori”. (Remember you must die. It’s even used in the Crescent City Trilogy..) And then Rhysand would also reflect this idea. He is already shown to kill many people quickly as a mercy. Clare Beddor and that one Summer Court faerie UTM.

Then Feyre recognizes it as a mercy kill.

She thinks it’s odd. I believe she would initially think of Rhysand like a cat who plays with his food first. Him exhibiting similar patterns of violence as Amarantha. Or so she thought.

Animals do not give out merciful killings.

“What game are you playing at?” She would ask him.

“A very long and tiresome game, Feyre.” Rhysand throws back a goblet of wine. “One where everyone is easily expendable, much like you.”

Feyre narrowed her eyes. “Faerie cunt. Give me straight answer.” Rhysand smiled. I also wish she was more bold. Less polite because she long lost her care for being classy. I also think if we lean into the “love” theme of Feyre and she was more of a hunter…. Feyre just wouldn’t think of it.

“Tamlin’s a nice man. Food’s good.”

“Food’s good. So, if I were to offer you food, would you be my Champion instead?”

“Food, clothes, roof, bed, an’ bath,” Feyre corrected. “Loyalty with price. No, you don’t give clothes. This is not cloth or fur or leathers.” She gestured to the sheer thing wrapped around her. If it were any colder under this rock, Feyre thought she’d get frostbite. “It’s a joke. I am a joke to you an’ those folks.”

I also head cannon Feyre with a thick accent of a sort. And very loose on her grammar. Like— very. Maybe Feyre picked up from Nesta and Elain but she spends most of her time alone and in the town doing trades sooo….

If you asked me what I’m thinking about right now, I’d say:

In ACOTAR book 1, when they were still enemies, and when Feyre still loved Tamlin, it was Rhysand that held all her broken pieces together and kept her from completely shattering. In book 2, it is Rhysand that helps her slowly heal.

And so that makes me think of the Shadowsinger that offered his arm to guide Elain to the garden, who spent his limited free time listening to her talk of her plans, who risked his life to save her and let her use his most prized possession in a war to keep her safe. While her mate was in the same court— same house, even.

There seem to be quite a few parallels…

for all the dummies mocking the valkyries and saying they can't have more attention in the next books, because ACOSF was already their book, I raise you this:

We didn't see the Valkyries in a battlefield, and most likely they will be in one, cause the blood rite was a very specific situation, but we need to see them in action again as a unit. Not only Nesta, Gwyn and Emerie, but the other women too, cause that's whole point of the valkyries: to form a elite women army type of thing, very similar to the thirteen in TOG

So, I don't believe, for a second, that their significance to the plot has died. They will have more presence, it doesn't mean they will be the main group and the main plot, but they will have some of the spotlight too. Otherwise, it wouldn't make a lot of sense

+ they will get their pegasus and use it for something, so... can't wait for that!!

you guys, crazy thought maybe

what if Koschei's box, his life and his soul, is in another world? Or something in this area.

From what I remember, I might be confusing things, Elain states she can't see the box properly and it's all "mist and shadow", so what if the box is in another world?? Maybe his original world or something and that's why she can't see it?

I think it's a huge stretch, cause that would make Elain, and possibly other characters, worldwalk, which I don't know... they have the Trove, but they don't have the Horn. Sure, maybe the Harp could do it too, but then why have the Horn open rifts between different worlds, if the Harp can do it too? It doesn't add up, but I think it would be a way to connect Koschei plot with different worlds plot

"sjm let the bonus chapter go away " hence why the bonus chapter is not important

ok, first, I don't know if that's tue, I will give you people the benefit of the doubt, but it's not true in my home country, I'll tell you that. We have bonus chapters in all the books.

And, second, I find it hillarious when elriels try to put the bonus chapter down. Like, what are you on about? After ACOSF was released, in a insta live, SJM literally said she was excited to see what people thought about the chapter, because there were breadcrumbs spread there.

So, no, the bonus chapter is not irrelevant. Period.

I find it even more hillarious that they think that, without the bonus chapter, things look great for elriel too. I'm gonna hold your hand when I say this, but I don't think they shared a conversation in ACOSF. Just Azriel dismissing Elain's whishes behind her back and Elain being all "I was checking on dessert" when she walked into the solstice party with Nesta. I think that's it.

On the other hand, Gwyn and Azriel actually spend time together and talk..wow.

"oh, but Azriel is avoiding Elain, that's why he's in the House of Wind", right, so you admit that one party avoiding the other doesn't mean romance is dead?? Interesting, it's very similar to elucien, when you think about it, and they're mates, so that's a bonus
