"what are your adjectives ??" popping his head from over the back of the couch, emory peers at byul inquisitively, voice (as always) almost a little too loud. he props his chin on his hand, arching a brow. "like, for example, mine are definitely noisy and chaotic." and he's damn proud of this, too. being the crazy friend is his crowning achievement !!
" — okay, so, maybe i'm on my sixth cup of coffee today, but whatever !! it tastes good !!" and he's an already very hyper, energetic person without caffeine. "i'm here, i'm present." and bouncing in place, but whatever. "beauuuuuuuuu," emory calls in a singsong voice, as if they're not standing right next to each other. "you look tired. want me to carry you ??" without waiting for a response, he scoops beau into his arms the way a dashing knight would do to a princess — if, you know, emory wasn't wearing a scooby doo shirt and the same beat up converse he's had since he was 16, he'd be a total knight in shining armor. "sorry, what was that ??" tearing his gaze from his sketchbook, emory blinks a few times, lips parted in an apologetic half smile. he taps his pencil against the paper, straightening slightly to better make eye contact. "got a little lost in this, but i'm paying attention now !!" ever chipper, his smile widens, turning more genuine.
