Doyun shouldn't have been surprised. Their daughter had been having nightmares the last few nights, and almost each time she'd woken up to the sounds of the crying, that Alexander rushed out of bed before Doyun had the chance to open her eyes.
It was the fourth time in the week. It was beginning to feel like a schedule at this point, and despite the doctors saying it was normal and their daughter always happy once consoled, that Alexander still ran every night as if it was the first time all over again. Doyun pulled on a robe to cover herself as she dragged her tired feet to their daughter's room just to see her in Alexander's lap, hugging him tight. The crying had already stopped by the time Doyun sat on the bed next to them.
"Big monster?" Doyun hummed, chuckling under her breath at their daughter's big eyes staring back. "Don't worry. It looks like daddy already got rid of him for you." @svnandmccn
