Imagine Elvira being sweet with you and making you flustered.
You’d always been so shy around Elvira, but you couldn’t quite put your finger on what it was about her that made you so unsure of yourself. Sure, she looked intimidating, but she was always really sweet to you. That remained true when the two of you went on your first date.
She could tell you were a little on edge then too. So, she decided to make an attempt of setting you at ease. She gently grabbed your hand, pausing to see if you’d pull away, but you didn’t. Then, she pulled it to her chest, right over her heart. "Can you feel that," she asked. "My heartbeat, not the other thing," she joked.
"Yes," you told her.
"It always flutters when I’m around you. I just wanted you to know it’s nothing you need to feel shy about. You can relax around me." She released your hand and you smiled. That actually did help you calm down a bit and feel more like yourself.

Imagine cuddling with Elvira when you get scared during a horror movie.
You’d always hated how horror movies made you jump. You weren’t ever really scared by them, it was mostly just a reflex. Either way, having Elvira by your side as you watched some old classics made you feel one hundred percent safe. Being able to cling to her when a jump scare happened just made it all the better.
