i accidentally pulled out a part of a succulent that i planted from its roots and i almost CRIED

Paps is fine... nothing to worry about
reminder I'm not drawing the auras that Paps and Sans can see (which is why paps is overwhelmed in the first place. This is also why he only has one on one sessions with Undyne)
also experimented with shading and such amd if i want to do that in upcoming pages.. my poor laptop hated me while doing this and lagged. Was nervous it was going to crash.

In this AU Skeleton Monsters (for example. Sans,Paps, and Gaster) can use the colors of the environment in order to do different attacks, unless its natural magic. It drains the color from them as they get used. which is why the Judgment hall is losing its color. same with Paps scarf.
