Of course colonies and stations all have their own law enforcement personnel to minimize the likelihood that a fugitive of some sort will arrive and be able to commit further crimes in those areas, but when it comes to piracy or interstellar crime it’s far easier to simply send a legislacerator or bounty hunter after them.

I make use of a server for complex computations and nothing else, and I have a drone of Bull’s make that I use to transport my bioware from the ambulatory frame to the server and back again.
If anyone intentionally trapped me in a server in a way where I was unable to move again I would rather the bastard just killed me instead.
