Unpleasant symptoms

Hey, another drabble. Dib trying to be supportive during Zim's pregnancy with Astra.

Dib heard his spouse from the bathroom again, emptying the contents of his spooch. Since becoming unexpectedly pregnant a few weeks ago, some of the worst symptoms had been frequent dizziness and unbearable nausea that made it impossible for him to keep any food down.

Whatever was happening in their bathroom sounded very bad. He couldn't just ignore it anymore.

Worried, the human opened the door only to find his alien husband with a hand on his abdomen and the other one gripping the side of the toilet as he breathed heavily.

"Dib-Beast! I told you not to interfere!" Zim spat, lowering his antennae even further.

"How do you expect me to just stand here while I listen to you rip your guts out?" Dib crouched down to be at the Irken's eye level. Zim gritted his teeth and glared at his partner. The human backed away slightly, until he noticed unshed tears in those ruby ​​eyes.

How does Zim behave while pregnant? Any instincts kicking in? Is he into nesting? Protective of his preggy belly from all threats? What about his cravings and mood swings?

He does nest usingDib's used clothes and blankets he made for his smeet. Wearing Dib's used clothes also brings a sense of protention around him and their kid.

Also he's gotten this habit of carressing his tummy unconciously whenever he is stressed or feels endangered. Even before knowing who was in her way.

As for cravings and mood swings, Zim is way more emotionally vulnerable and has EVEN MORE intense emotions. And eats a lot of sugar. He is constantly hungry but can't eat too much at once because of the limited space.
