   Pete didn’t know how to do this. He wanted to apologize to Mantis for how he acted when he first met her -- specifically for thinking that she would put eggs in him. Apologizing should be easier than this! But the knot in his stomach was making this ... extremely hard.

So here he was, awkwardly standing in the doorway of the ship -- oh man, it hit him again that he was in an actual SPACESHIP -- and looking at the woman in front of him. “ -- Ms. Mantis? Hey, uh, can we talk? ”

He blinks, realizing the question came out way more serious than it needed to be, quickly putting his hands up. “ It’s nothing bad I promise! I just ... I want to apologize to you. ”

She had only recently been working with the avengers for some time. And something was apparently happening because the guardians of the galaxy were there. But it wasn’t serious enough to bring in Captain Marvel.

She was watching them buzz around, presumably making plans. But Kamala usually just did what she was told since she was one of the kids of the group. Her and Peter were often brought in for these sorts of things. So Kamala just strolls up to Mantis, observing her antenas before popping her hand out in front of her. “Hi. I’m Kamala.”

Hm. Hmmmm.

Sorting through the colossal amount of data that was in his head at any and all times, Vision scoured each network individually, looking for a particular piece of information that would hopefully lead to some sort of revelation and would bring him to the eventual conclusion that...
