❝ i feel like yours and mine are completely different though... ❞ kotone is a rather modest person, so it’s only natural she doesn’t really talk about her apparent popularity. however, if she were to speak of it, the source of hers and ryoji’s wasn’t similar... in her humble opinion, anyway.

He had dragged him along to a morning jog since he needed a partner and Ryoji was the only one awake that morning and so he took him.

The words had come out in a soft, frustrated mumble directed at the air to no one in particular. A hand went to his neck and them to his hair as he gave it a light pull, physically showing his frustration.
Hands were then shoved deep in his pockets, saying nothing for a few moments as he avoided eye contact before he heard Ryoji’s soft breath. He shivered slightly at the touch, eyes slowly sliding to Ryoji and landing on his ever present smile. The slight frown on Minato’s own face was wiped away as the other spoke, mouth opening slightly in surprise at his words.
Minato was silent as he listened to Ryoji, and when the other was finished he opened and closed his mouth, trying to find the words to say. Eventually he looked away, a hand going to rub at his eyes and a soft sniffle escaping him before he spoke. “...Thanks Ryoji... It... means more than you know...”

she smiles brightly, the girl obviously in a good mood. and who can blame her? the weather was good, she had a peaceful night’s sleep ( for once ), and she actually had time for some breakfast.
with a hum, she nods to the taller, expression blissful. ❝ ryoji... hewwo. ❞
