I hate reading fan theories and headcanons, especially when they’re really really good, and even more so when they can completely seamlessly line up with canon and could have totally happened, because then I’m just painfully reminded of the fact that they didn’t happen. It’s like climbing to the top of a slide and feeling so excited for the ride down when the kid behind you suddenly gets impatient and pushes you and you tumble sideways down the slide, flip over the edge, and land in a mud puddle.
