Hello! I've been having trouble picking out a blouse for Fanplusfriend's Musical Palmer II (DR00184) dress in navy - the nondetachable shawl is throwing me off. They have an example with one of their own blouses, but I'd like to know what other kinds may work. Thank you very much!

Personally I wouldn’t wear it with a blouse, I think it looks best as is because the shawl is such a fancy touch. If you did want to wear it with a blouse though I think your best bet would be to wear one with a low neckline that won’t show so all you see is the sleeves. Something like this or this might work nicely. They also have it shown with a high-neck blouse that doesn’t have buttons which isn’t super easy to find but a somewhat simple one without a ton of frills or puffy sleeves or anything like that might still work nicely. I think this one could be really pretty with it because the lace has a very dark and elegant look.Basically my recommendation is to find a blouse that doesn’t have big details in the front like a low collar or a lot of ruffles because I feel like it would take away from the pretty neckline and cape. Either a simple-ish high-collar blouse or no collar at all would be best in my opinion.
