Prince Scott of Rivendell falls in love with Cameron (Cambam) the peasant flower shop owner and is absolutely devastated about it. Not because their love is forbidden or anything but because Cam's just kind of a loser

AU where the Empire gang (Minus Pearl and False) is bullying Jimmy too much, especially over the toy thing, so upon the visit, Grian (who was already informed by False) snaps and reveals that they are brothers and also reverses the toy thing (bc Watcher powers, or perhaps just being an admin as well) >:)

And then Jimmy ends up going with the Hermits when they leave, of his own free will.

He can't take the bullying anymore, even if Grian teases and pranks him, at least Jimmy knows he won't go that far. Won't keep going if he genuinely asks him to stop.

Because his big brother is actually there for him when he needs him, pulls him into either of their nests at any time, answers his flock calls always, his big brother will actually check in or make sure Jimmy is ok with what's happening, his big brother protected and stood for him.

And what's more, Grian now promised to help Jimmy get better at standing up for himself again, and Jimmy knows he means it, knows Grian won't just protect him but make sure he can protect himself.

So he goes with his brother, and his brother's flock.

(Oh and Pearl and False chew out the Emperors and dip as well)

a year ago today, i began to write a silly royal au. i had no real plan or big idea, all i knew was i was merging three of my favorite minecraft smps together, with my favorite long-time ship at the center of the story. "the look of love, the rush of blood" became the title a few days later, and suddenly i was dedicating every second of every day to thinking about this au. through developing the story to its final details, i have found an unfathomably kind community in writer's block, support in the life series of tumblr server (which i now own, somehow), and reclaimed my title as a writer. i never imagined i would get back into writing fanfiction but as soon as i started third life, it was all over for me <3

everyone has been so beyond supportive in ways that i could have never imagined and i thank you all so much for the love you've shown me and my fic (which hasn't even started posting!!!) because it means the world. i really hope i get to post it this year and start rolling it out. tloltrob is almost done (everyone cheer!) but i still have a few more chapters to fill out and get done. ch 26 is my latest work and we're currently at 125k, but by the time i finish up i imagine we'll be at 150k, at least.

thank you everyone, but especially writer's block! @writers-block-hoa has been my safe haven for almost a year and without this fic, i never would have met you guys and furthered this endeavor. i love all of you so much.
