My journey from being an introvert to extrovert
I ain’t afraid of the wolves, keeping out of the woods ain’t my realm anymore.
I am a citizen, not of Athens or Greece, but of the world.
Before reading this quote, attributed to Socrates, I had marginally liked talking to anyone outside my comfort zone. Social anxiety you may say. Moreover, I had a job. My networking goals were as dull as my career aspirations. There was no urge to build connections anyways. But in last six months or so, I felt like actually paying for premium LinkedIn services in order to connect with a more diversified group of people. I have built this website to work on my revisited networking goals. I am marking my social presence. What made me change?
Unconsciously, my interactions to some wonderful people through an excellent personal platform “About.me” made this happen. All at once. The idea that a person outside your field may invite you to some opportunity you had never thought of exploring is remarkable.
