It's very funny whenever someone points out that the Emperor was not in fact white, there are people scrambling to say "Well he was born in Ancient Anatolia aka modern day Turkey, but we can't say for sure if he was brown" or "Well he can change his appearance, so he can be whatever we want" and both of which are implicitly saying "The Emperor cannot be brown, i do not want to think of him as brown, and for some reason i do not want to unpack why i do not want to think of him as brown."
