             there’s a general thrum of hushed whispers, of planning & strategizing. some argue while others try to   diffuse the tension that seems to course its way througheach and every one of them. perhaps she should be    amongst them ( she’s the considerable asset, after all ),finding ways to properly utilise her ministry influence for   the gain of the order, but she can’t seem to movefrom where she stands -- removed slightly from  the hullabaloo. they’ve made their beds &&picked their battles, and now the time has come   to lie in them.              dark eyes flicker towards thoseof her cousin’s. she doesn’t mean to stare.  not really.   moments like these are the ones where she mourns the years wasted. andromeda tells her that SIRIUS    resembles her --- &&  she can’t help but searchfor the parts of him that coincide with the parts of her.    this - WAR is so much bigger than all of them,no one knows that as well as he does. she wasso very young when it happened the first time ‘round.    he is doing it all over again. how lonely that must be, especially after all he’s endured.      a smirk tugs at the corners of her lips. it’s not the mostappropriate response to the heavy decisions being made in theroom, but humour’s always been her defense. maybe, some  years ago, it was his, too.
