“yeah, probably,” remus insisted, shifting his gaze from the chess pieces to the boy sitting in front of him. “as far as i know, you’re no doctor to be able to determine whether that is serious or not —— what’s wrong with poppy taking a look? she’s not even going to charge you for it.” the werewolf is kind of glad he grew up next to james reckless potter -- he had had that exact same discussion with the dark-haired boy for the past six years, almost in a daily basis. that was probably the only reason why he was being kind of understanding and hadn’t dragged the boy to the infirmary himself yet: it had helped him develop patience. “you know you are no use to the team if you can’t exactly play.”
