Empty Jar

I had a Jar filled with jam,

This jam was a strawberry jam, it was my favorite.

I used to always share this jam with my friends, I once knew, but they would never share their jam with me.

We’re not friends anymore.

Blueberry, Raspberry, Boysenberry, and Apricot.

I constantly shared my jam with new friends,

Lower and lower

Some would say don’t share your jam so much, while others just took some and kept it.

They knew how it felt to lose their own jam but it didn’t stop them.

Lower and lower

I had so much jam.

They would say “Maybe it isn’t so bad to share that jam?...” Or “Maybe you just should say ‘No you can’t have my jam, go away!’”

Lower and lower

Scraping the jar clean.

I have no more jam left...

The jar was nothing but empty

An empty jar filled with No sweetness, No preservatives, Nothing.

But it was just an empty jar, filled with empty dreams that left an empty feeling inside.

**wrote another poem, I don’t think it’s that good as the last one, but then again the last one wasn’t that great either. Welp, fuck it! Lol**
