connection between the backrooms and tls. The main picture people use for backroom settings is from the Midwest. There's probably a random broom closet that's liminal.
i'd looooove to play with liminal spaces in TLS but tbh I feel like it's a bit more of a struggle with a purely written medium? so much of the uncanny wrongness of liminal spaces comes from seeing a place that isn't right.
that being said. i may or may not be including my favorite ~liminal space location~ in next chapter so. We'll see if I can at least evoke unsettled feelings in MC when they see it...
