Aquatica opened in Orlando, Florida on March 1st 2008. It is a marine park that has thrill rides, and up close encounters with dolphins and other animals. One of the rides is "Dolphin Plunge", where a slide ventures through the dolphin habitat. It is owned by Seaworld. There are currently 4 Commerson's dolphins within Aquatica. Juan was captured in the Straights of Magellan on November 23rd 1983. The other three were captive born in Seaworld San Diego- Pepe (born May 23rd 1993, arrived January 27th 2008), Ross (born September 1st 1998, arrived January 27th 2008) and Ringer (born July 10th 2000, arrived January 10th 2016). 4 dolphins have died at Aquatica since 2008. Betsy was a wild dolphin captured in the Straights of Magellan on November 23rd 1983. She died on January 17th 2016. Fabio was a male, born September 16th 1993 in Seaworld San Diego. He was sent to Aquatica on January 27th 2008. Fabio died on April 15th 2014. Keebler was a male, born October 23rd 1998 in Seaworld San Diego. He was sent to Aquatica on January 27th 2008.
