If they know about the supernatural: What is your character’s attitude to each species? What about each of the families? Are they aware of all species? To what extent are they knowledgeable about each species? Has your character always been the species they currently are? What is one positive interaction they’ve experienced with the supernatural? What about one negative?
Hedy doesn’t know all that much about the original families; she of course knows the rumors and myths that surround them but most of what she knows comes from what she hears from others who have met them or knows a friend of a friend who has. All word of mouth more so than actual facts. But unless they bother her then she doesn’t have a problem with them but she does favor the Tallis family the most only because of their long line of witches but she has no issues herself with any family. She works for the Bordeaux family’s business so she is excited to learn more about this original families.
Hedy is aware of all species but had mostly interacted with witches in her lifetime. She lived on campus in a house full of witches back in college. But she has a pretty neutral attitude to every other species. Until someone crosses her than she doesn’t really have much of a negative or positive attitude.
If they do not know about the supernatural: How would your character react to finding out about the supernatural? How do you think they would find out about the supernatural?
Hedy knows all about it!
What are your character’s thoughts about immortality? Would they chose it if given the option?
Loves the idea of it! But only if certain friends and family members were immortal too. She has had the same group of close friends since college and can’t go more than a couple months without seeing them & she is so incredibly close to her parents. Hedy would love to freeze her body with how it looks now and just get to live a fun and adventurous life for a few hundred years.
What is your character’s opinions on magic? Would/Do they view it as something positive, or negative?
Incredibly positive. Hedy may not be the person she is today without magic. She would still be a little spoiled princess but she surely wouldn’t be the confident woman that is today without magic. It was what made her feel complete and she would always feel a little less than herself without out. Magic is a beautiful thing and something Hedy can’t imagine living without.
Here’s a scenario: Your character has to chose another species to become and cannot remain the one as they are – what would they pick and why?
Vampire. Hedy wouldn’t be against living a longer life, much longer, and keeping her looks is another bonus. So being able to look like what she looks like for a few hundred years and getting to travel the world whilst investing wouldn’t be something she would be against.
