Whimsii
This is a fanmade world of mine, homeworld to my OC Trixie, as well as the canon fairy Francis. In my fic, Francis is Trixie's older sister, and the two of them are the princesses.
Biology and Environment: Despite it's name, and friendly inhabitants, Whimsii is not an easy planet to live on. It's the only habitatable planet in its system, and that's only marginally. Whimsii's star is dark purple and doesn't give off a lot of light, making an appearance of an eternal night. While modern Whimsiicans have developed artificial light sources, they retain the developments Ancient Whimsiicans used for survival. Whimsiicans have two hearts and three stomachs to maximize their body energy. The tri-colored freckles are a mystery to most, but it's believed to be a direct effect of their star's light. Whimsiicans generally have black or dark brown hair, but their eyes can range from a whole rainbow of colors. Whimsiicans are generally tall and fit, and are generally considered very attractive. EMS' Whimsiican oc, Crow, is a good example of this.
Culture: the people of Whimsii definitely live up to their planet's name. Like Melody, Whimsii is a world of the arts, especially the performing arts. Also, like Melody, Whimsii takes on appearances similar to asian culture on earth. While Melody generally focuses on music, Whimsii performances range from the opera and orchestra to daredevils, but many fall under the tent of "circus." Whimsii is nearly always in a state of celebration, and welcomes visitors from all worlds, so it's a very popular tourist destination. Whimsii's best school is the Whimsii House of Magical and Performing Arts, which any artistically talented being in the magical universe is invited to join. While being flashy, Whimsiicans are also very personable and humble, and just want to make others enjoy themselves as much as possible. The royal palace is even a mobile circus tent, which has a different shape every time it's constructed. However Whimsiicans are notoriously hard to win the favor of, whether politically or romantically. As a magic nation Whimsii tries to stay open and neutral, while the people themselves don't usually find people from off of Whimsii that tickle their fancies. Psyche, my witch from Minerva, is a rare exception.
Magic: Magic on Whimsii is inherently performative. Be it witch, fairy, or any other magic user, the magic is either a performance in itself, or assists in the user's performing arts.

Crow is an Aerialist who has air magic. Now, like in Crow's case, the goal of Whimsiican performers is to give a thrilling performance without using his magic. It's a status symbol for how little magic a performer has to use.
Royalty: Matrilineal, Whimsiican royalty is always passed down to the eldest daughter of the family. The current ruler is Queen Francis II, the Fairy of Fireworks, and Francis and Trixie's mom. She rules with King Hugo, the Magician of Surprises. Francis III is next in line to be queen, as well as Whimsii's guardian fairy. Trixie is p much going to marry into Minervan royalty, cementing a connection between Whimsii and Minerva. Otherwise, the royal family always has Whimsii's best interests at heart, fully supporting the arts--performers and stage crew alike. The revenue from Whimsii's tourism allows many Whimsiicans to have comfortable lives, especially after they retire.
Long and short of it is: Whimsii, a strange planet full of happy people!!
