I just had a patient that actually smelled good. What a trip. Patients never smell good. They smell like stale cigarretts, booze, heroine and vomit or shit. Wow. Thank you good smelling guy, you made my day!

it's so cool that you're an EMT!! I'm highly considering becoming an EMT myself so I smiled a lot when I found that out
Oh hey! That’s pretty cool!
Yeah, I ended up becoming an EMT at the end of…2015? It’s a pretty great job once you find the right company for you!
Drew some dergs and a mergirl
Friendly neighborhood EMT plays at being a security guard without a raise in pay whaddup

Yesterday I was sleeping on the bus at work and woke up to overhear a conversation between two teachers, a guide and the bus driver about how shitty Pride is and ‘it’s not like we have a straight parade’ and ‘we went to london once and I saw two men kissing and I felt like puking’ and ‘that makes me sick to look at’ and ‘I have nothing against gays but why do I need to see men in bikinis on parade cars in Tel Aviv?’ and ‘I don’t care if I have a lesbian daughter but I don’t want her to be asociated with those people’ (people who dress provocatively at Pride) In a bus full of 7th graders. I was so livind but it’s my place of work and they were our company’s clients and I wasn’t about to start this conversation being a baby gay and heavily outnumbered. These were people I was super friendly with right up until that one ride. UGH. If any of them had a lesbian daughter and she heard her father say he was grossed out by the sight of two men kissing, already in her head she’s uninviting him to her wedding, where he wouldn’t have to watch her kiss a girl. Oh wait, or is that alright because lesbians are sexy to straight men? I’m just. But right after that I overheard the students talk about Pride positively and just being kids figuring out that gay stuff aren’t bad, especially this one girl who was vocal about how every city should have put pride flags up and not just Tel Aviv and Haifa and all the grown ups were on their phone pretending not to listen but I was so proud of these kids I started crying.
