I was awake way too early (04:25).

And promised myself I would try to go back to sleep; but it didn’t happen.

Why?

Because I had this nagging doubt that the business I should have started but never did still awaits me. 

And then I remembered something I read in Michael E. Gerber’s stunning book, The Most Successful Small Business in The World, The Ten Principles, namely, anything that doesn’t have the capability and capacity to grow to a size of 10,000 times is likely to stay a small business, run by a technician who like me (twice before) was struck by an entrepreneurial seizure.

It’s true though, isn’t it?

So few businesses have the potential to scale.

Is that such a bad thing?

I don’t know.

But I do know, as I grow steadily more tired over the course of the day, that I’ll be taking that damn number 10,000 with me everywhere I go.
