Imagine bringing the 2016 characters back only for them to be wiped out to give way for the 2025 characters [and] story line.

Honestly I can't even finish watching the episode about Aquil and Gaiea's untimely demise. I can't fucking watch Ybrahim's nonsense death, as well as the unjustified deaths of Cassandra, Lira and Mira.

Alena had the best character development in Encantadia 2016, from being a young and naive Sang'gre to a strong, wise Queen of Lireo, and now they had to downgrade her character just because she was ✨chosen✨ by Emre to mother Sapiro's heir?

Note: (I didn't watch the whole episode but I did see the clip of Ybrahim dying and someone posted their frustration over Alena's character assassination on threads, this is how I keep myself updated 😜)

Amihan chose not to conceive another child with Ybrahim, even if it was "Emre's will." If she can do that, do y'all honestly think Alena is incapable of doing that as well? If you truly know her character, then you know that she will NEVER agree to this bullshit, she was able to stand her ground and refused to grant Lira's plea to get back with Ybrahim so the latter could move on, and now they're making us believe that Alena ultimately agreed to be locked up in a loveless marriage JUST to conceive an heir for Sapiro?

Oh, and I HATE how they STILL taint Ybrahim's character. If there's one thing they're good at, it's fucking up a beloved character and making everyone hate him in a single episode, good job guys.

Just saw this post from a fan page. To be clear I have nothing against Terra or Bianca Umali pero shet if this is how most viewers define the term "bida" or main character, then it shows how shallow these people are. Yes, malaking factor 'yung physical strength and power to defeat the enemy, but having an interesting back story and journey--eto talaga ang reason kung bakit sinusubaybayan ng mga tao 'yung show, not just because the character is strong and powerful.

Again, I have nothing against Terra, but I also get why other people find Deia a more interesting character. Because Terra's story is already cliche af:

-Separated from her biological parents as a baby

-Adopted and raised by humans

-Bullied for being different

-Manifesting her powers, etc.

It's a recycled story of Lira. The only difference is that Terra started her training in combat at an earlier age and played this superhero kineme in the mortal world which in my opinion is just a plot filler to make the story longer I mean, we're supposed to be focusing in the world of a fucked up Encantadia and how to save it from the evil forces but...oh well.

Anyway, as I was saying, if physical strength and power lang ang definition mo ng bida, eh di

2. You don't really know what Encantadia is all about

True fans of the show understand the core of Encantadia. It's a story about love, unity, friendship, and faith. Besides, if Terra is the sole savior of Encantadia, then what's the point of the other gem keepers? Side kick lang gano'n? Cliche as it may seem, but the only way to defeat Mitena is for the four new gem keepers to work together, just like how their predecessors defeated Hagorn and Etheria's forces (mas na-emphasize nga lang siya sa original trilogy). It just so happens na nag-focus muna 'yung kuwento kay Terra, and now that she's already in Encantadia (hopefully) the other gem keepers would be given a chance to tell their stories.

This might not make any sense to a lot of viewers considering how hard Lira and Mira worked to prove themselves worthy gem keepers.

However, Lira and Mira realized that the gemstones may be the greatest sources of power in Encantadia, its keepers however, hold a great responsibility of protecting it which could cost someone's life, it could be others, or the guardians themselves. It's scary, and after what happened to their friends AND themselves, I understand where they're coming from.

They instead chose to create their own paths other than the path that was carved for them by their mothers and aunts. They don't need the gems to protect Encantadia. They will protect and fight for Encantadia with their own power and strength.

Everyone in the OG Encantadia understands that the greatest source of power aren't the gems. It's love. That is the message that Encantadia has been sending for years and years now. The original Lira NEVER needed any of the gems to fulfill her role to reunite Mine-a's daughters, and eventually unite all the other engkantados to fight against the evil forces. Her love for Encantadia is her gem, and for me, that's what made her character so powerful.

I think that's the message the 2025 version tried to put out there:

Lira was named after a precious stone, and Mira after the strongest metal to create weapons. They themselves are the power and strength of Encantadia, which I think would have been so much better had they given us THIS storyline instead of that stupid-ass sarkosi plot that we got in the post-Amihan's death arc in 2017.

It's still so frustrating at how they missed the mark and instead gave us a horrible ✨animated video✨ explaining why Lira and Mira never got to hold the earth and water gems respectively.

Yo, I just remembered, Ybrahim's death is the same as Lira's in the original saga. Remember when Anthony died and Lira was devastated so she returned to Encantadia and asked Cassiopeia to grant her "eternal sleep" so she could be reunited with the man she loves? Yep, that's it.

Ybrahim's longing is valid, but that longing has turned him into a piece of shit to the living and breathing engkantados around him. He could have just died fighting the Mine-a-ve to protect his kingdom or even his daughters just like how the original Ybrahim died in Enca 3 (2006); that would have been more acceptable.

Ybrahim's character was far from perfect, but that NEVER defined him as a man. His love for his woman was unwavering despite everything they went through, he lost his daughter and longed for her for YEARS, but that didn't stop him from being a great king, and a loving grandfather to Cassandra. He died fighting and protecting both Arman and Armea. He became one of the pillars of Encantadia, he was fearless, he was loyal, he was a true king.

So why did he end up this way in 2025?
