“Velocity of Being” is a book that is lovely to behold. Claudia Bedrick of Enchanted Lion and Maria Popova of Brain Pickings have gathered some of the best writers and artists in this book. The writers wrote letters to young readers about their love for books and artists illustrated those letters. Contributors included Jane Goodall, Yo-Yo Ma, Ursula K. Le Guin, Mary Oliver, Neil Gaiman, Amanda Palmer, Oliver Jeffers, Maira Kalman, Mo Willems, Isabelle Arsenault, Chris Ware, Liniers, Shaun Tan and Tomi Ungerer.
