Encore to an Empty Room
Good evening Bibliophiles
I'm not sure if any of you have been following Kevin Emerson’s Exile series (the review of Exile is on my blog) but I finished Encore to an Empty Room yesterday evening and was super shocked!
To avoid spoilers I won't tell you the reason for being shocked but it's something you won't expect and won't see coming.
Encore is the second book in the series and follows the life of the band Dangerheart and its manager. The book is norratored by Summer, the band’s manager who is the also the girlfriend of the lead singer. The band is looking for the lost songs of famous musician Eli White who happens to be the father of the lead singer.
While the book is completely unrealistic it is a fun, easy read. And to answer to two questions that the whole blog is about...
The book doesn't really have much to say about the human condition but hel, I'm desperate for the third books to come out I need to know what's happens! So, should you read it, yes, it won't take you long at all and it will have young hooked for book three, Finding Abbey Road.
Happy reading and don't forget to folow...
