♦♦; — Usually there was no hesitation. There was always full confidence in his actions, never second guessing or leaving things half assed. Tyki was always completely behind his choices and moving with them.
Yet, standing outside the dorm room, the actor was feeling less than certain this was the right thing. He'd snapped, allowed Joyd to take control. It was to protect the boy, t make him know they'd never beat on him again, yet there was a terrible turn for the worse. Instead of relief and joy, there had been fear and pain on Armin's face.
Not what he wanted at all.
Just a quick check on the other to ensure his injuries were properly taken care of, that was all he needed to do now. Then, he would leave Armin alone. Inside, Joyd cautioned him how terrible of an idea this was, how he needed to just continue to leave the boy alone, how Sly alone was the only one that could understand him. After all, he'd already proven to be unable to leave that life behind. Low blow.
Clenching his fingers tightly into a fist, Tyki turned to leave. He couldn't do this. Joyd was right, Armin was better without the loose canon he was. Despite the aching in his chest, the desire to rush in and beg for forgiveness, to get his anchor back into his life, he couldn't do it. It was better this way, better for the boy he had begun to care so strongly for.
Armin was safer this way.
