The Dakota Tawaxitku Kin is a #newspaper that was published in #stpaulminnesota from 1850-1852. This is the front page of the very first issue - Nov 1850! As illustrated here, it was published in #Dakota an #indigenouslanguage that is also *now* a critically #endangeredlanguage with fewer than 300 fluent speakers.
