Deep in the wild moors of Scotland, on a dark and stormy night, three witches met in a glen. Thunder boomed and clapped overhead, lightning flashed across a sky as black as a bard’s ink, and rain lashed at the ground, making the grass slick and wet.
10. My Elven Rogue Svarra’s Backstory
The tall trees were filled with bird-song, and a soft wind rustled the emerald green leaves, whispering words that only a few could hear. Warm sunlight fell onto the forest floor, casting a pale golden light on a small home nestled among the trees.
Wow I really had do do some digging to come up with ten recent works! I definitely have a habit of describing scenes and settings before getting into the action. It’s just a natural place for me to start. If you’re a writer and you see this, you’re tagged!
