Hey guys! It’s been a long time, but I’m hoping to post more now that I have less school.

So, in honor of the recent teaser trailer, here’s what I imagine the settings for Gavaldon and Camelot would look like(aka where my favorite couple lives)

Gavaldon Headcannons

Hi! Here are some Gavaldon Headcannons because I thought it would be fun. Some of these might not exactly be how it’s described in the book, but I don’t remember everything, so this is just how I’ve always imagined it!

- Gavaldon is really foggy and dark, usually rains lightly and lots of clouds daily

- There is a main town square where they have most of the shops and markets on some weekends

- Sophie liked to wander around these markets and buy things for her beauty routine and show off

- When Agatha was younger, she liked to watch these markets and wished that she could be a part of them

- After Sophie befriended her, Agatha went to the markets with her and Sophie tried to buy her lots of things to “help” her

- It’s a small town, so everyone knows everyone, but most people have secrets that they try to hide, so they are very private

- The elders regulate everything and they rule with fear, but no one is really aware of their power

- Outside of the town square is mostly houses

- I’ve always imagined the houses as small and old fashioned and closely packed together and they all look the same

- The main streets are mostly cobblestone and some of the back streets are dirt roads

- They walk everywhere, no other modes of transportation since it’s such a small town

- I’ve always imagined the town sort of down in a valley and the land slopes up and is circled by the woods

- Agatha’s house is near the woods on one side, but people generally avoid it

- The woods are basically in her backyard, so she explored them a lot when she was younger, but Callis found out and stopped her before she could go too far and warned Agatha to stay away from the woods

- There is only one school that all of the kids have to go to, and the curriculum is all regulated by the elders

- Callis tries to teach Agatha actually useful things because she knows the school is useless

- Sophie doesn’t have a lot of friends, but everyone knows her

- The book store is very popular and everyone always goes there to get storybooks

- A lot of the kids analyze them to see if they can find anything out

- All of the adults are oblivious and don’t really keep track of their kids

- Most of the town thinks the same way

- Overall, most of the people are unhappy, but no one is really aware of it
