[You would think after being wrecked so badly last time, it’d give up completely on trying to take Kaleb’s soul. But no, evil persists and so does Khaos.]
[However, Khaos has learned from its mistakes and decided to wait until he wasn’t in his domain. It’d have an advantage if he couldn’t draw power from his realm. Instead of any speech that’d make him aware of its presence, this time it went straight for the bite.]
Kaleb was not at all surprised to get stealth attacked. He let Khaos make their play, taking the bite... his blood was static, leaving Khaos' mouth numb as Kaleb slowly turned his head, his facial features flickering to static slightly, before it was directly in his line of sight.
"...did you not learn from the first time?"
...there wasn't anything. This wasn't Kaleb. THIS WASN'T FUCKING KALEB. He was fake, a simulacrum. The being grabbed Khaos once again, tearing it clean off, flesh tearing away from the faker, painting Khaos' face with his static gore.
"Did you not pick up on the pieces yet? You've got deuces and threes, against my hand of kings and aces..."
