it seemed that love had been making a conscious effort as of late to keep herself distracted , to not think about her fears and worries . there were only so many pages she could fill with her thoughts and emotions ; it was not enough . but something a little different happened today — a note was left for her at the medical tent . from theo , asking her to come over . how could she possibly say no ?
he didn't seem to be home yet by the time she got there , but the nurse assumed she had permission to make herself comfortable and so , she did . curiosity let her to fiddle around with whatever random trinkets of theo's she could find , to the point where she even considered playing with his beloved sword once or twice , eventually caving and allowing herself to swing it lightly , lazily fighting a dragon of sorts . but upon hearing the door open , love quickly turned towards the sound and hid the object behind her back . poorly so . ❛ i ... i wasn't doing anything . nope , ❜ a giggle . slowly , she allows herself to make her way towards theo . ❛ hope it's okay that i waited inside ? i wanted to explore . ❜
