The epic NPCs are a group of warriors highly skilled and experienced in fighting styles similar to that of the El team. They come from all walks of life and for various reasons enter the Elsword arena to battle all challengers. All of them are.in the top rankings with none being listed below "A" ranking. Lowe- Lord Knight, Lowe uses a fairly basic fighting style in which he teaches to new students of the El explorers. His distinguishing features are his experience with these skills and a trademark upgraded Mega Slash. Penensio- Rune Slayer, as leader of Hamel's Red Knights and head of security, Penensio is a spellswordsman who uses techniques involving magic runes to create hybrid damage attacks with various effects. With as much flexibility as he has with elements, his signature skill is still his Barrier Rune. Speka- Void Princess, a dark girl with a real mean streak, Speka makes it perfectly clear her affiliation with darkness is her greatest weapon. Flinging everything from projectiles of gravitational force to bats out of hell, she has a trick up her sleeve for every occasion. Noah- Elemental Master, clad in heavy armor and ready to put a chill in the air Noah is the epitome of "cold steel". Most of her attacks are Ice based, not only inflicting damage over time but also slowing enemies to a crawl. Elemental Master's notorious flexibility takes an Icy turn in this fight.

So in terms of demons, Shadows follow Ran and are used as heavy duty troops for the capture of a heavily fortified city.like Hamel. Glitters are lesser soldiers used to expand captured territory and focus on weapon combat with the only mages being necromancers to recycle troops. Special elite soldiers such as the commanders and alchemists are kept in the vanguard at defense of an objective. Rather than have an entire army in the middle of the desert, Karis sways several local factions to her cause since they are adapted to the environment and offer a wide range of skills. She prefers clean missions rather than conflicts and works to fight a downhill battle at all times. She plans ahead and performs at peak efficiency.
