The demons are exposed. Stand up and fight

As the current crisis continues to unmask its hideous face, more evidence is emerging that the enemies of Holy Church have been servants of Satan directly via Satanism, Luciferianism, and other such dark arts. The witness who reduced the powerful Cardinal McCarrick to the lay state, James Grein, confirmed to Taylor Marshall that McCarrick was actively practicing Satanic rituals as a bishop (see these interviews here and here). In addition, credible evidence has now emerged that another powerful Cardinal—Bernadin of Chicago, now deceased —had been practicing violent Satanic rituals since at least 1957 (then a priest). Even further, the current working document for the upcoming Amazon Synod seems to leave the door open to such demonic influences present in paganism

The full depth of the corruption both financial, moral and spiritual is yet to be known and likely will never be fully known. But no thinking Catholic can stand idly by any more. Now is the time to stand and fight, lest any man receive the curse of Debbora: Curse [them], said the angel of the Lord…because they came not to the help of the Lord, to help his most valiant men (Jdg. v. 23). Rather, the Prophet now cries out: Who shall rise up for me against the evildoers? or who shall stand with me against the workers of iniquity? (Ps. xciii. 16). Let no man be left who has not taken up his arms and entered the battle. Let us offer our lives to die for Holy Mother Church, and God will give us the victory. Whatever activism you may be engaged in, mark this: the spiritual battle comes first. If you fail to fight this battle first, you will end up fighting for the enemy.

Hey your into TV tropes right, well i have a question, how can one go about making an enemy without. I have a character whos struggling with her own repress angry and lust from the slaughters they done, and her enemy without is continuing it in her hometown.

Enemy Without

First off… make sure it’s an actual enemy and not something that is demonized-but-neutral.

Anger and Lust might be seen as deadly sins, but they are in the end neutral forces whose presence doesn’t automatically indicate evil. Anger is awesome fuel to enact change. Lust is an expression of desire and again can drive you to achieve something positive. People who experience sexual attraction often say “I lust after my partner” is something that determines a healthy relationship, because lusting after them means they find their partner physically attractive. 

If you find yourself struggling to create a good Enemy Without, then maybe consider you don’t truly have a solid enemy and need to darken the evil residing.

For example, Fullmetal Alchemist has the dark bloodlust be the driving force of Lust. She actively seeks to destroy to satisfy her desire to kill, and she’ll kill without much of a second thought. That depth of lust makes her a satisfying enemy to face, and something that genuinely sounds evil.

Truth be told, I’m always cautious of “anger is evil” plots, because they end up feeling flimsy for me. They’re angry. So what? A lot of people use anger to drive them forward and change things. The problems lie in anger consuming you to the point of tossing aside others needlessly.

This isn’t to say that anger can’t be destructive—it very much can be. But you have to develop it into a toxic form instead of just assuming all anger is toxic.

What about her anger and lust makes it a good enemy? Don’t rest on “it’s repressed”; unleashing repressed anger and lust can make you a much healthier person, overall, as you learn to own the feelings and use them as fuel. Is the anger true wrath that doesn’t care how many people it hurts so long as everyone is punished for slights against the person who has decided to become justice? Is it lust for profit that leads to the breakdown of the natural world? Lust for blood that leads to murder?

Without that deep, destructive motive, anger and lust are just two emotions in the cards. They’re not an enemy.
