This is a makai-type, the main monsters in the one shot. After a supernatural biological experiment known as the M-cells (makai cells) evolved into organisms, these creatures are made from these cells and animal, plant, and insect DNA. The M-cells are from mummified supernatural creatures like zombies, ghosts, vampires, demons, monsters, werewolves, etc. to create medicine, but failed. These creatures are dangerous and can attack humans. Only a bakemono (the monster merging snacks/drinks) user given by a shinigami, can kill them.
